GRIEF is a graphic poem for Older Teens and adults, written and illustrated by the award-winning team: Husna Rahman and Anita Bagdi.
The artwork is moving, reflecting images that emerged when the atrocities escalated following October 2023. The words pull together people of different backgrounds, stirring the souls of readers.
GRIEF depicts the emotion many of us felt (and still feel) when we witness the scenes and sounds coming from the oppressed and occupied in a land that is losing loved ones every day.

All profit from sales will be donated to the work carried out by Human Concern International (HCI).
HCI Canada has been operating in Gaza since 2000.
They have operations across different sectors, including monthly food aid, emergency response, WASH, health, and education.
They understand there are questions about delivering aid in these highly challenging times.
The blockades and lack of humanitarian access are impeding the ability of many NGOs to provide help.
HCI can manoeuvre around these challenges, for the time being, by working with partners that have access to funds and supplies inside Gaza.
