Bismillah… Bees

Rabia Bashir set up a sadaqah Jariyah publishing company in 2016 after the birth of her first son when she was inspired to write her first children’s book. She had been writing poetry and short stories since childhood but they were mature pieces. She never dreamt of becoming a children’s book writer. Her first board-book launched in January 2018 called Five Pillars: Just To Please Allah. 

Advice – Support – Repeat

Rabia began supporting other authors on their own publishing journeys. But found herself repeating a lot of the information. She decided to create a training manual and course and began putting it together once both of her boys started school. Then Covid came. And she lost her amazing dad. Her dreams and duas went on hold.

Summer of 2023

A lot happened in between but she decided to launch Dreams and Duas and hasn’t had time to look back!

Alhamdulillah, through word-of-mouth, she has supported many authors with guidance calls, manuscript editing, art direction for illustrated books and more…

She has answered questions from ‘How do I start writing a book?’ all they way to ‘I have published my book, how do I sell it?’

And Dreams and Duas will be publishing a range of books in 2023 insha’Allah.
